So I decided to ask myself and people around me \u201cWhat Could I Do?\u201d\u00a0 So here\u2019s some ideas.]<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.\u00a0 The mind attaches to the importance, but I can take charge by putting my attention on something else\u2014something that requires concentration and creativeness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp; When people say something derogatory,\nsometimes I remember an idea that I\u2019ve been given from time to time that says \u201cthey\nare projecting onto me what they don\u2019t want to see in themselves\u201d.&nbsp; I can check to see if it\u2019s something I really\nneed to change because it is an unnecessary disturbance to others.&nbsp; If it is not, I can just consider the source\nand let it go.&nbsp;&nbsp; So it is to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp; Sometimes it helps to change my\nactivity.&nbsp; Perhaps go for a walk. Dr. Bob\ntold me to walk until I didn\u2019t feel the anger anymore. That\u2019s to \u201cwalk it\noff\u201d.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp; Another idea is to ask myself if this is\ngoing to affect my life 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years from now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\u00a0 Ask \u201cWhat is the ideal?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 If I could get the ideal, what do I think it would give me. Look up \u201cideal\u201d in the dictionary &#8212; Ideals are illusions created in the mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.&nbsp; Notice if what is being made important is\nsomething I am wanting right now\u2014perhaps seeing that it can be had eventually\u2014perhaps\nit\u2019s a process and will take a period of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.\u00a0 I\u2019ve also observed that at times when I\u2019ve made something important and been blocked, that it was the best thing that could possibly have happened.\u00a0 I have realized that and sometimes it took years! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\u00a0 Change perspective.\u00a0 Imagine other ways of looking at it\u2014perhaps the way someone I respect and admire might see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>[From Marsha\u2026This at least gives some ideas to work with.
